80. Watch a tennis match, live (AusOpen)

I bought the ticket two days before the event and honestly, I knew nothing about tennis. In fact, I didn’t even know who was playing. All I knew was the Australian Open was about to end, ticket prices will go up as it was approaching grand final and I had to tick this off my bucket list, ASAP if I want to hit my targets before the end of this year.

To start off my brilliant day, my car got hit by a “P” plater. That was fun calling the insurance! What was more fun was he blamed me but I’m not here to rant about that issue. I’m here to brag about my experience, duh!

Like I mentioned, I have no idea who was playing and my knowledge of tennis is quite limited… I don’t even know the rules or how the scoring works but towards the end I felt like I knew everything! I only know a few players so I was quite surprised to see Roger Federer playing, especially when I have bragging rights to tell my mum that I just saw her boyfriend. Awkward moment when my mum put me on speaker and dad was next to her when I said “I just saw your boyfriend” then try to explain to dad that she really doesn’t have a boyfriend and that it’s just her fake boyfriend.

Watching the first match was a bit hard to understand, especially when I didn’t know who was who, or the rules… or who to cheer for! But getting towards the end of the match, I started to understand how the rules work.

Second match got me understanding a bit more which helped quite a lot especially when Federer’s match was coming up. Both of the first two matches were women’s single and it was definitely brilliant to watch! I was definitely sitting on the edge with every match but my GOD, FEDERER WAS AMAZING!

I definitely had a ball of a time 🎾
