20. Watch a musical by yourself

To make me look more of a Disney fanatic to accompany with my tattoo of Jasmine & Pocahontas, I decided to watch that one musical I know will make my heart sing and dance to, the one that take me to a whole new world and create moments to appreciate for just-a-minute (that was intended to be a poor Aladdin pun that I executed badly cause you know… just a minute [Jasmine]- but on the plus side, I did sneak in another bad joke cause you know… Aladdin is poor. I just went real dark there. Sorry).

But yes, it was absolutely a dream come true for me to see my childhood Disney movie come to life on stage! I remember the first time it was released here in Melbourne, the radio blaring, friends taking pictures and even seeing some ads on Facebook as well. I knew I couldn’t wait any longer because it was going to end in a few weeks and I know I would regret not going so I went alone.

Proudly showing off my tattoo in my shorts, I bumped into a family who was also going into the musical as well and the daughter of the family noticed my tattoo. She was dressed up as a “Disney princess” and I complimented her dress as much as she complimented my tattoo. In fact, entering the theatre was a nightmare though! There were so many kids but they were so adorable! Most of them were wearing princess-like-dresses and some with tiaras… it was truly breath-taking and adorable at the same time.

The best part of the musical was when Aladdin and Jasmine kissed and then all the kids reacted in disgust. It was the best!

Besides that, it was the best moment to parade my tattoo, my true appreciation of the musical and enjoy just being around myself. Truly was awesome!
