I’m going to be honest: this was an honest mistake. I never intended for this to happen but it did and I can sort of cross this off my bucket list (?).
I had blonde tips close to the end of 2017 and as any hairdresser would tell you, “please use purple shampoo”. So, that’s what I did. I bought purple shampoo… except it isn’t what it seems. It was purple dye. That’s right. PURPLE MOTHERF**KEN DYE! Did I know that? Clearly not because the next thing you know, I walked out of the shower with purple hair!
There I was in the bathroom, screaming in the mirror and questioning myself,”WHY ISN’T THE PURPLE COMING OUT!?”. This went on for 15 minutes and I went through the stages of grief quite quickly… you know the stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Yeah, I went through all of that in 15 minutes. When the new year rolled around, purple became blue. So in order words, as I type this post up and reminisce on my idiotic mistake in my bedroom, I have blue hair. Blue hair. BLUE HAIR!
